Kick off fall on Baker Bridge Farm for our annual fundraiser and community harvest celebration. This year’s event is packed with delicious food along with a full slate of participatory activities with our youth and farmers. We’re particularly excited for yoga in the field, making flower crowns, live cider pressing and the djembe drum circle workshop.

Each year The Food Project employs 120 teens from Greater Boston and the North Shore to cultivate our urban and suburban farmland, serve at hunger relief organizations, and work with the community to find innovative ways to expand food access.

Our annual Shindig directly supports this programming, fostering youth to serve as leaders — now and for the rest of their lives.
