Please join our trustees, staff, alumni, and Root Crew teens on Baker Bridge Farm where we have been growing food and stewarding the land since 1998. We’ve designed a unique opportunity to spend time with us on the farm, enjoying good company and culinary delights, while supporting our work.
  • Delicious lunch options provided by Fresh Food Generation (Codman Square), Mei Mei Dumplings (South Boston), and Root (Salem)

  • Participatory farm-based activities led by our farmers, staff, and Root Crew teens

  • Participate in our silent auction

  • Homemade ice cream, cider donuts, a variety of beverages

  • Families are welcome; current TFP youth and their families attend for free

11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Activities on the farm

  • Make music with Mali drum circle lessons led by Moussa Traore

  • Tell your story with an activity led Co Executive Directors Maritza Rosario and John Wang

  • Create your own floral arrangement. Join our farm staff and TFP youth, working with wild flowers provided by Baker Bridge Farm

  • Roast s’mores by the fire pit

  • Paint pumpkins

  • Press your apples for cider

  • Listen to live bluegrass music by the Tremont Street String Band

  • Move your body with yoga led by Adesuwa Usuanlele North Shore Assistant Director of Youth Programs and Community Partnerships.

  • Make cordials with herbs from the farm

  • Get your hands dirty and experience a core aspect of our youth development programming. Join farmers and TFP youth for vegetable harvesting.

  • Learn about our popular Build-a-Garden program. Build-a-Garden annually provides 150 raised bed gardens to our neighbors in Boston and Lynn at no cost.

We are providing a variety of fun and distinctive opportunities to support our youth, food, and community programming through our Silent Auction. We welcome your participation, whether or not you are able to attend the event.
